Louisville might not have made it to the Final Four, but if it's any consolation they've got their in-state rival Wildcats beat at one thing. They can claim that the Cardinals —- or at least the Louisville DMA (designated market area) —- has the most avid college basketball fans according to Nielsen Scarbrough. Nielsen Scarborough surveyed more than 210,000 adults from around the country last year to compile the report. The top 25 markets look like this:
