High school powerhouse DeMatha and Miami Central were taking off in a game that was big enough to earn a spot on ESPN. DeMatha would go on to win 38-14, but they experienced a huge loss when wide receiver Darryl Turner Jr. suffered a gruesome ankle injury in the first quarter.

Yeah... your ankle is not supposed to bend in that direction.
Turner — a three-star/four-star recruit depending on the service — will likely be out for his entire senior season. The good news for Turner is that he already committed to Maryland, so he will not have to worry about recruiting issues during his recovery. Best wishes to him in bouncing back.
