AP Poll Week 3: Clemson takes a heavy tumble

What on earth is this Top 4?

It appears the AP voters were harsher than the Coaches on Clemson's 30-24 win over Troy.

The Tigers tumbled all the way to No. 5 in the new AP poll, with Florida State, Ohio State, and Michigan all jumping them in the poll. Florida State got four first-place votes, while Michigan got one. Alabama, of course, took the rest.

Clemson wasn't the only one punished; Georgia took a heavy fall from No. 9 to No. 16 after their near-fall to Nicholls State. In a vacuum, they probably shouldn't have been dropped seven spots, but that's what happens when you go a little too far and rank them as No. 9 after a win over UNC.
