AP Poll Week 4: Clemson gains major ground on Alabama

Clemson beat Louisville 47-21 on Saturday.

The newest AP Poll for college football is out, and one thing is clear: the Associated Press was really impressed with Clemson on Saturday night.

Clemson jumped from the No. 3 spot to No. 2, and they now have nearly a quarter of the first-place votes in the poll after barely having any last week. Alabama is still the No. 1 team with 45 first-place votes, but they are no longer the nearly unanimous No. 1 that they had been in previous weeks.
