Who says Jimbo Fisher can't recruit in Jim McElwain's backyard? Florida State's 2018 class landed a verbal commit from running back Charles Strong (6-foot-1, 215 pounds, Gainesville, Fla.) on Sunday morning. Strong attended Florida State's Junior Day last week in Tallahassee, and took to Twitter Sunday morning to announce his commitment.

Strong, who given he's in the class of 2018 is still very early in his recruiting process, holds offers from Florida, FAU and Miami. Swaying Strong away from Gainesville is something Florida State fans, and coaches, are surely excited about.
