Brian Kelly received some positive news Monday morning after four-star athlete Kalon Gervin announced his commitment to Notre Dame.

Gervin, who is from Detroit, Michigan, is the No. 164 overall player in the Class of 2018 according to 247 Sports. The 5'11, 180-pound athlete chose Notre Dame over Michigan, Michigan State, Florida, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma and several other schools.
He is the No. 3 athlete from the state of Michigan.
