6-foot-5 WR Carlos Carriere announces his commitment

One team's recruiting class just keeps getting better.

If you are looking for a tall wide receiver, one just went off the recruiting market.

Three-star recruit Carlos Carriere (6-foot-5, 170 pounds, Alpharetta, GA) took to Twitter on Saturday to announce his commitment to Maryland.

Carriere becomes the ninth commitment of a rising 2017 recruiting class for the Terrapins. Ever since the Terps landed five-star recruit Josh Kaindoh, they have soared up the recruiting rankings, and are currently ranked as the No. 14 class over at 247Sports.

Carriere could be an interesting recruit because of his height, but he clearly needs to put on some weight. 170 pounds isn't going to cut it in college ball, so we will have to wait and see how he puts on the pounds over the next few years to see if he can become a play-maker at the next level.
