6'5", 260-pound DE sets last official visit, knows who he's choosing

Now the suspense will probably get to some people.

6'5", 260-pound strong-side defensive end Jordan Williams has one more official visit before making his decision on where he wants to go to college next year. However, he already knows where he wants to go and will let that school know ahead of his scheduled August 6 commitment date.

The four-star DE out of Virginia Beach holds nearly 30 offers, but did list his top five schools featuring Clemson, Tennessee, Virginia, Ohio State and Virginia Tech. Williams talked to TigerNet and said that he pretty much knows where he's going, but plans to keep some people in the dark until his announcement date in August.

"I pretty much already know where I'm going. I'm calling the school next week to let them know what I'm thinking. I still have one more visit left in late July to clarify all of that with them, so I'm definitely going to call the school next week and then August 6th is when I'm going to have my ceremony at the school."

That final visit will be at Clemson coach Dabo Swinney's annual All In Cookout. Williams says he's been comparing dorms at all the schools as well as the different majors everyone offers and what the course load looks like at each school. While Clemson wasn't in Williams' original top nine, the Tigers made the cut in his top five thanks to a nice sit down with defensive coordinator Brent Venables.
