ESPN has reporter Brett McMurphy doing a segment recently that involves polling the coaches on a football related question. Last week, it was about which player coaches would most want on their team, a poll won by LSU's Leonard Fournette.
This week, the poll was about the most knowledgeable fan bases and the top two answers will probably be a surprise to most people.
Nebraska the overwhelming favorite? Didn't see that coming. And Alabama at No. 2? Can't say say I saw that coming earlier. Stanford and Notre Dame seem like choices that you would expect to be in the Top 5 of a poll like this, but I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with all of the teams listed here.
