A second Chick-fil-A Kickoff game has been added for 2020

A second game is coming for 2020!

It looks like the Chick-fil-A Kickoff crew enjoys having two games on opening weekend.

Per the Athens Banner-Herald, Georgia and Virginia have agreed to play on Labor Day of 2020 as part of the Chick-fil-A Kickoff that has helped open the college football season in recent years. The game will be in addition to Florida State vs. West Virginia, which was finalized recent as well.

"Like Georgia, Virginia has been playing football for well over 100 years and I'm sure this will be a popular matchup with both fan bases, as well as football fans in general," Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said in a statement on the game. "We are appreciative of the opportunity and look forward to returning to Atlanta for the 2020 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game."

Georgia played in the 2016 version of the game, winning 33-24 over North Carolina.

The 2017 slate of Kickoff games should prove to be impressive as well, with Alabama vs. Florida State opening the weekend on Saturday. Labor Day will follow up with another game inside Atlanta's new Mercedes-Benz Stadium, as Tennessee and Georgia Tech will battle it out in a matchup of old SEC rivals.
