Well this has been a rough week for one of college football's top offenses.

Just a week after 1,100-yard receiver Jonathan Giles announced that he was transferring, Texas Tech lost another receiver when former three-star Tony Brown announced that he would also be leaving the program.

"However, after talking with my family and praying, I have made the decision that it is in my best interest to transfer from Texas Tech University and pursue my dreams and academics elsewhere," Brown said in his statement on Twitter.
In two seasons with Texas Tech, Brown was responsible for 27 catches, 378 yards, and a touchdown. Brown was originally a highly-touted recruit out of California before signing with Texas Tech in 2015, and it's unknown if he will look to transfer to a school closer to home.
If Brown does transfer to an FBS school, he will have to sit out a year before being eligible once more. He should have two seasons of eligibility beyond that.
