Clemson is gaining ESPN's respect, 1 percent at a time

Coming into the Orange Bowl, Clemson was given a 37 percent chance to beat Oklahoma according to ESPN's FPI. We know that stat is total crap and it says that Clemson now has a 38 percent chance to beat Alabama in the national championship game. Clemson co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott decided to have some fun with those stats.

Coach Dabo Swinney has famously played the underdog card on more than one occasion this season and it looks like ESPN is giving him a reason to do it again. Guys, Clemson is undefeated and has proven it has the mettle to win the close games and the big games. Stop underestimating the Tigers!
