Clemson set to lose big-time receiver

This is not what WRU was hoping to hear.

Clemson is looking like it will lose a big-time receiver in Germone Hopper according to multiple sources. Those same sources are saying the decision was Hopper's and was not related to any disciplinary action. Hopper is currently enrolled in classes at Clemson. Back on February 3, The Clemson Insider was also reporting that Hopper was not attending team activities and had not met some of his academic responsibilities.

This past season, Hopper hauled in 21 catches for 317 yards and a touchdown, and finished second on the team with 15.1 yards per reception (minimum of 20). He finishes his Clemson career with 797 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 71 receptions.
