Clemson to lose even more depth in secondary after transfer

Clemson is already going to be losing a lot of depth in the secondary this year with the departures of Jayron Kearse, Mackensie Alexander and T.J. Green. Now it seems they will lose another guy to transfer in safety Jefferie Gibson. He played in 12 games as a redshirt freshman and recorded 12 tackles.

He was expected to seriously compete for the starting safety position with Jadar Johnson and Van Smith as his primary competitors. Gibson has not said where he will be going as part of his transfer.
