Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant left the game early against Wake Forest due to an ankle injury and the severity of the injury was unclear. However, it would appear that it's not so bad that it will keep Bryant from playing on Friday against Syracuse in the Carrier Dome. ESPN's David Hale got this quote from Swinney in regard to his plans for Bryant:

"We're not going to get into all that. I expect Kelly to be ready to go, but if not, we'll have a plan but I'm not going to lay it out for Syracuse. "I think he is going to be just fine. He'll be limited today, but when we get going, I think he'll practice. If he's ready to play, he's going to play. If not, we'll play the next guy."
This was the play where Bryant was injured:
Getting back the only true experience the team has at the quarterback position for a game in the dome would be key for Clemson. If Bryant is unable to go though, Zerrick Cooper and Hunter Johnson have seen some game action this year and should be fine against Syracuse with the help of Clemson's top-5 defense.
Bryant has thrown for 1,259 yards and four touchdowns this season, adding 401 yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground.
