Clemson has been looking for its new quarterback all summer after Deshaun Watson became a pro and was drafted by the Houston Texans. Early in the summer, junior Kelly Bryant was listed on the depth chart as the top QB and it looks like coach Dabo Swinney has gone a step further than to say he's his No. 1 right now.

Dabo: Kelly Bryant is "no question" atop the depth chart still and has graded out the highest of any of the QBs during camp.

Swinney also said that he's "earned" the job rather than being handed the title due to seniority.

Bryant has been competing against redshirt freshman Zerrick Cooper and true freshman Hunter Johnson all summer. Johnson was the No. 2 pro-style QB in the class of 2017 according to 247Sports while Cooper was the No. 5 dual-threat QB in the class of 2016 according to Scout.
Bryant is the only who has recorded some stats with 13 completed passes for 75 yards, a touchdown and an interception in his two seasons of mop up duty. He's also run 35 times and 178 yards and three touchdowns as well.
