With rumors swirling that Nick Saban might retire soon, there have been more rumors about former Alabama walk-on Dabo Swinney taking that job. Swinney and his staff have already agreed to extensions that should take them through 2021, but according to ESPN's Mark Schlabach they could be getting a lot more money.
Of course, none of this will take place until after the big game Monday, but it's interesting that Radakovich mentioned it at all. It's a bit of a curious move considering that Swinney and his staff got a rather nice raise and extension —- to take Swinney through his son graduating high school —- just back in 2014. But Swinney has been one of the best coaches in the country and it's only right that he gets compensated as such.
