Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers are sitting pretty after the latest College Football Playoff rankings as they are ranked No. 2 now. That upset quite a few people including FOX Sports' Joel Klatt who said that the rankings were "laughable." That has prompted coach Swinney to defend his team and he said he never thought he would live to see the day where his team would be perceived to getting a bias like this. Here's what he said via Tiger Net:

"I love that. That's great. That's beautiful. Boy, we've come a long way. Now, we don't beat Florida State by enough and there's a bias. I didn't think I'd ever live to see that day. I haven't heard any of that stuff."
He also went on to say that the rankings will play themselves out by the end of the season, especially since there won't be any ties and someone between them and Miami will have to lose the ACC Championship Game. He also went on to say that his team has earned this ranking.
"We're just thankful we're in the hunt. We've earned it. It's not like we haven't played anybody. We've played a good schedule and we've earned it.At the end of the day, you win or you lose."
He does make a good point as Clemson has played five teams in the ESPN FPI top 25 and the only game they lost was when their starting quarterback wasn't even close to healthy. With wins over South Carolina and possibly Miami in the next few weeks, the issues with the rankings should put to bed as they will be more than a deserving team of being in the College Football Playoff yet again.
