ESPN analyst names his 'most complete' team in the College Football Playoff

And he's generally a Georgia guy.

The four teams in the College Football Playoff are all pretty good in Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia and Alabama. However, they all have their weaknesses except for Clemson. When asked about who his favorite team to win the national title is, Pollack went with the Tigers. Here's what he said via Brad Crawford of 247Sports:

"I'd go Clemson. Clemson's defensive line is dirty, by far the most talented front in the country. (They got) guys who can two-gap and consistently rush the passer. I would lean Clemson because down the stretch they've been the most complete team. I don't think Clemson's secondary has been tested that much. I think when they get tested, maybe Oklahoma in the championship game, that's their weakness."

Clemson leads the country in sacks at 44 and third in the country in tackles for loss with 104 on the season. So it's safe to say that Pollack makes a pretty good point with how "nasty" that defensive front has been this season.

A lot of people would say that Alabama might be the more complete team, but Pollack disagrees with that and points specifically to the quarterback struggles.

"(Quarterback Jalen) Hurts has not proven his consistency," Pollack said. "Just when I thought he was gaining traction, he took several steps back in the Auburn game."

He has not been the stud that people thought he might transform into this season, but he has been solid as he's helped the team on the ground as well as in the air.
