Four-star WR Derion Kendrick turns away Florida, Alabama for his 2018 commitment

Their postseason run is definitely helping them on the recruiting trail.

Four-star wide receiver Derion Kendrick had plenty of options to further his football career with 16 offers from high-major schools before the 2018 recruiting cycle even fully got under way. However, he's shutting down his recruitment a whole year early because he likes this school that much:

The 6'1", 195-pound receiver is ranked as the No. 10 receiver in the class by 247Sports and is the No. 2 recruit in the state of South Carolina. He also held offers from Auburn, Alabama and Florida with the latter two throwing two recruiters on him each. Georgia, Kentucky, UNC and Notre Dame were also some of the schools that offered Kendrick.
