Deshaun Watson might have lost in the National Championship Game, but he was still able to accomplish something no other quarterback has done in Division-I football.

Clemson QB Deshaun Watson just became the first Division I quarterback with 4,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in a season. Ever.

That won't comfort him much after the tough 45-40 loss to Alabama for a national title though. This young Clemson team will be back soon and will be a force to reckon with with some guys being older and more mature. Hopefully the Tigers can shore up the secondary with the recruiting class coming in and can fix up the special teams problems that plagued them all season and especially in this game.
Watson ended up throwing four touchdowns on the night to go with 405 passing yards and 73 rushing yards.
