The Clemson Tigers had this weekend off to prepare for a huge primetime game against Notre Dame next week that will feature ESPN College GameDay on campus. The Fighting Irish are undefeated after manhandling UMass 62-27 on Saturday and beating a fierce Georgia Tech the week before. Watson has been told and sees the importance of next week's games not only to his team, but to the fans and students.

"Hearing it from fans, students, and different coaching staffs, I know this game is going to mean a lot, especially to the alumni. Wherever Notre Dame goes, they're going to travel well. They're going to bring fans, and people are going to want to watch them so two great teams, going head-to-head on primetime is going to be very exciting. Who wouldn't want to come to that game? It's going to be a fun night."
Watson watched the ND win over Georgia Tech and came away impressed with the defense. He knows that Clemson will have to be at the top of its game offensively if the Tigers want to come out with a win in front of a huge audience —- everyone watching ABC that night —- and solidify themselves as playoff contenders.
