Gus Malzahn refuses to give Clemson bulletin board material before first game of the season

Looks like someone is determined not to give Clemson some bulletin board material.

SEC Media Days are happening in full force in Hoover, Ala. this week. Tuesday saw Gus Malzahn take the stage and answer his fair share of questions. When asked about his first game against 2015's National Championship runner-ups, Malzahn absolutely refused to give the Tigers any sort of bulletin board material.

He was asked what a win would mean for his Tigers and it doesn't sound like he's too confident about winning the game.

"It would be huge. There's no doubt. Deshaun Watson is maybe the best player in the country, he's phenomenal. We're playing at home. We've had success with first games in the past. I'm excited about it and it's going to be a heck of a game.

"(These are) things to motivate you. The urgency's been very good. We're going to find out where we're at early, which I like as a head coach."

Clemson returns eight offensive players including Watson, running back Wayne Gallman, receivers Mike Williams and Artavis Scott and tight end Jordan Leggett.

Auburn finished seventh in the SEC West after entering the 2015 season as the media favorite to win the SEC Championship.
