Former Clemson running back C.J. Spiller spent six seasons in the NFL before being cut by the New Orleans Saints earlier this month. He spent five seasons with the Buffalo Bills and went to one Pro Bowl (2012) after rushing for over 1,200 yards and finishing with 459 receiving yards.

It seems that the 29-year old Spiller will get another shot at the NFL as the struggling Seattle Seahawks have come to an agreement with the former first-round pick.
The Seahawks are averaging only 102 yards rushing per game after averaging 141.75 last year with Marshawn Lynch and co. It makes sense that they would sign another running back to compete with Thomas Rawls and Christine Michael and hopefully help them bolster an offense that has gotten off to a rough start this season.
