Five-star defensive tackle Rashan Gary (6-foot-5, 293 pounds, Paramus, NJ) is essentially the unanimous No. 1 recruit of the 2016 class. Gary has yet to announce his commitment, as he is waiting to do so on Sportscenter on National Signing Day.
However, we've got an idea of which schools are left in the running, and one school got a huge boost on Tuesday when it was reported that Gary had chosen which school will be the host of his final official visit.
Clemson is actually not listed in Gary's Top 5 potential destinations over at 247Sports, so this is a huge win for Dabo Swinney and the Tigers. They will have a final shot at the top overall recruit before signing day on February 3.
According to 247Sports, Michigan, Alabama, and Auburn are the current leaders for Gary's services, with the Wolverines being the current favorite.
