One of the top recruits in the state of Georgia has made a commitment!
On Tuesday, four-star defensive back Joseph Charleston (6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Alpharetta, Ga.) announced that he had committed to Clemson.
I would lastly like to thank every university that offered me and gave me an opportunity to play for them and to say that I am truly honored... But one school sticks out from the rest. After many talks with my family and coaches I am officially committed to CLEMSON University.
Charleston also had offers from Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State, among others. He is ranked as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Charleston is Clemson's only commitment for the 2019 class as of press time. The Tigers have 11 commitments in their 2018 class, and are currently in pursuit for many of the nation's top uncommitted recruits.
