Clemson defensive lineman Shaq Lawson left the Orange Bowl game early against Oklahoma with a knee injury, but was convinced at the time that he will still play on Monday. He said he's fairly uncomfortable and gave us an idea of his pain with the classic doctor's office scale.
He's been a limited participant in practice as well. He said his contact has been pretty limited.
Now Lawson is giving himself a decent chance to play on Monday.
And if you're a fan concerned about whether the big man is thinking about the draft, he put those worries to rest as well.
Hopefully we see Lawson Monday night because then it just wouldn't be as fun or fair for Clemson. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m.
