Clemson junior quarterback Deshaun Watson is likely to be a top 10 pick this year so long as he doesn't majorly digress from his spectacular 2015 season. He put up over 4,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing while leading his team to the National Championship game last season and completed 67.8 percent of his passes on the season.

However, the Tigers have not gotten off to a great start on the season. While they're 2-0, their wins have not been impressive against lackluster foes. Clemson barely beat an overmatch Auburn team 19-13 and needed some offense at the end of the Troy game to in 30-24. In those games, Watson has thrown for 540 yards and four touchdowns against three picks on only 52.9 percent passing.
In fact, he's looked so bad that there are some NFL scouts who would take a different DeShone over him right now. Kizer from Notre Dame has thrown for only 371 yards, but has completed over 70 percent of his passes and has seven touchdowns against one interception.
From NFL.com:
Two scouts told us in the weeks since the season began that they believe Notre Dame's DeShone Kizer should be ranked ahead of Clemson's Deshaun Watson as the top quarterback in college football.
That's a pretty gutsy call considering we know that Watson can play much better and Kizer was not nearly as good last season. He threw for 21 touchdowns against 10 picks and threw for only 2,880 yards.
