It's 2008 and Tommy Bowden is fired six games into the season after starting 3-3. Dabo Swinney steps in as head coach and losses his first game, 21-17, to Georgia Tech. The next week wasn't so bitter. Swinney and his team headed to Chestnut Hill to play Matt Ryan and the Eagles.
The Tigers would get out to a 17-0 halftime lead, but the Eagles would claw their way back into the game, scoring 14 unanswered points. Clemson would stop the rally there, as the Tigers scored 10 more points and eventually won 27-21 thanks to a Cullen Harper touchdown pass to Aaron Kelly and a 43-yard field goal kick from Mark Buchholz in the fourth quarter.
