Clemson starting defender to miss ACC Championship Game with injury

That doesn't sound good at all.

Clemson and head coach Dabo Swinney were hoping to have linebacker Tre Lamar back for the ACC Championship Game against Miami. However, he is going to miss the game with a shoulder stinger according to the injury report that Clemson released on Thursday.

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Lamar has been out since suffering the injury against Florida State on Nov. 11. Despite missing the last few games, Lamar has 50 tackles on the season and his four sacks are tied for fourth on the team. He also has five tackles for loss as well as a forced fumble.

Both teams comes into the game only one loss on the record with Clemson's coming to Syracuse earlier in the season and Miami's coming at the hands of Pittsburgh just last week.
