Nation's No. 3 RB announces four official visits despite commitment

He's apparently not a sure thing.

James Cook, a five-star running back out of Miami, Florida, is committed to Florida State, but that doesn't mean the talent athlete is necessarily following in the footsteps of older brother Dalvin Cook.

During an interview with 247sports, Cook noted that he's still 100 percent to Florida State as of now, but is taking visits to Florida, Oregon, Georgia and USC.

"I'm still open and free for anybody," Cook said per the report.

Cook is a 5'11, 190-pound prospect with a 4.5 40-yard dash, per 247sports.

He's the No. 3 running back in the 2018 class, and the No. 20 overall prospect. Cook has offers from Michigan, Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Ohio State, among others.
