Florida State's 2016 class has gained two silent commitments, per five-star verbal commit

Florida State's 2016 class could gain a couple more members, according to a five-star verbal commit.

According to a five-star Florida State verbal commit, the Seminoles' 2016 class has added two "silent" verbal commitments. Cornerback Levonta Taylor (5-foot-11, 182 pounds, Virginia Beach, Va.) tweeted on Thursday that he the class has gained two more verbal commits, but they just haven't announced it publicly yet.

Taylor is the No. 1 ranked corner in the country per 247Sports. He committed to the Seminoles in April. Florida State's 2016 class is already the No. 3 ranked class in the nation, behind Ohio State and LSU.

Possibilities for the silent commitments could be four-star tight end Nasier Upshur (6-foot-2, 233 pounds, Philadelphia, Pa.) — Upshur took an unofficial visit to Florida State in early August. His top schools include FSU, Michigan, Arizona State and South Carolina. He tweeted on Wednesday that he would be making his decision soon, and changed his Twitter display name to "8/23" — which could suggest an Aug. 23 verbal commitment date.

Upshur will fill the void of five-star tight end Isaac Nauta, who verbally decommitted from the Seminoles last month.

Linebacker Devin Bush Jr. (5-foot-11, 226 pounds, Hollywood, Fl.) has been a top target for the 'Noles — he's the son of former FSU safety Devin Bush, who played in the 1993 National Championship game for the Seminoles.

Cornerback Trayvon Mullen (6-foot-1, 172 pounds, Pompano Beach, Fl.) also looks to be deciding between Florida State and LSU.
