Florida State defensive back Derwin James is one of the most talented defensive members of the 'Noles' team even as a true freshman. He's second on the team in total tackles with 48, and he surpassed Jalen Ramsey's defensive records as a true freshman two years ago.

Derwin James has now surpassed Jalen Ramsey's freshman totals for tackles, TFLs, sacks, forced fumbles, and pass breakups.

Perhaps his most impressive tackle of the season came Saturday against NC State when he body slam tackled Wolfpack quarterback Jacoby Brissett.
