The Florida State Seminoles didn't just unveil a new set of reasons for the Tallahassee faithful to believe in Mike Norvell and FSU's national championship hopes — they also debuted a fresh set of new uniforms. While most teams spent their spring games showing fans how they'll adjust to losing stars to the NFL Draft, the Seminoles took the opportunity to show off their new look.

FSU's football jerseys and helmets have always been among college football's best. The rich garnet and shimmering gold announced Florida State football as a team to be feared by other ACC teams including Miami, Louisville, Boston College and Clemson. But ahead of the 2023 season, the 'Noles got a fresh new look, courtesy of Nike, that they showed off at the Florida State University spring game at Doak Campbell Stadium.
FSU Stands for Ferociously Solid Uniforms
When most college football fans think of the most iconic NCAA uniforms, the tribal pattern used by FSU immediately comes to mind. The football uniforms, which were given their blessing from the Seminole Tribe, featured the garnet-and-gold pattern on the thick sleeve cuffs used in the 1990s. However, ahead of the 2023 season, Florida State athletics used its annual spring showcase to show off two new looks, one that includes white helmets, white pants and white jerseys.
The new uniforms make FSU one of a limited number of collegiate programs set to don the new state-of-the-art Nike Vapor F.U.S.E. uniforms. The Nike Vapor F.U.S.E (Field Utility Special Edition) uniforms combine "lightweight fabric technology with a precision fit to help allow ultimate performance on the field."
With their black uniforms, the FSU football program will now have multiple combinations to pick from, as quarterback Jordan Travis and his fellow Seminoles make a run at the ACC title and the national championship.
If you're a 'Noles fan and these uniforms don't get you hyped for the season, then we don't know what will.
