FSU star RB Dalvin Cook to miss the rest of spring football

Tough break for the star back.

Florida State football star running back Dalvin Cook will miss the rest of spring football and more after undergoing shoulder surgery, according head coach Jimbo Fisher, per Tomahawk Nation:

"Dalvin had surgery on his shoulder. They cleaned up a little stuff in the back of his shoulder, but he'll be ready in a couple months. He'll be ready to go in June or July. Nothing drastic."

Cook reportedly was in pass protection when he injured his shoulder. This is his third shoulder surgery since high school, after reportedly having front left labrum surgery, front right labrum surgery and now back right labrum surgery.

Florida State opens its season Monday, September 5, against Ole Miss in Orlando. Barring an setbacks, expect Cook to be ready to go when the Seminoles kick off their 2016 season.
