Jimbo Fisher could have cost his team the game with boneheaded decision

Uh oh...

Florida State was hosting Louisville and hoping to even up its record at 3-3. The Seminoles battled back from 28-14 to even up the game and had a chance to go to overtime. Louisville had to make a 34-yard field goal to win the game and the kicker Brandon Creque actually missed the first kick, but coach Jimbo Fisher bailed him out by calling a timeout.

Creque would make the one that counts and that would end in a 31-28 win to drop FSU to 2-4 and bring the Cards up to 5-3 on the season.

FSU true freshman quarterback James Blackman had a chance to lead his team down the field for the win, but fumbled the ball in field goal range to give Louisville the ball back and their chance at the winning field goal.

Florida State next plays at Boston College on Friday before hosting Syracuse the next week.
