This probably isn't what you want to hear from your head football coach after a spring practice. On Wednesday evening, Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher met with the media to discuss how practice went, and the head coach was far from pleased.
"Very average to below average, I was not pleased at all. Just lack of enthusiasm. practiced decent, but not the level in which we're used to practicing. one of the worst ones probably since I've been here."
Fisher was asked to follow up on his opening comments about the practice.
"It was awful. No enthusiasm, no life, no nothing. Just going through the motions, thinking they're gonna win. About the way we lost three games last year."
Fisher added that he hadn't had an opening practice period like the one the 'Noles went through on Wednesday in six years.
It's obviously early in the spring football season, and the 'Noles still have 14 practices to go during the spring season, but Fisher has a right to be displeased after a poor outing at the beginning of spring practice.
