We are getting closer to peak college football offseason as spring games are finishing up and there won't be a whole lot more football to talk about. So it's only fitting that SEC aficionado Paul Finebaum had College Gameday co-host Kirk Herbstreit on his show to talk about the upcoming season.

Herbstreit specifically talked about one of the most hyped up and anticipated games of the first week of the season in the Chick Fil A kickoff game. It features the Seminoles and Crimson Tide playing in the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and Herbstreit thinks it will be a titanic matchup:

Most preseason polls have the two teams in the top ten if not the top five of their rankings. So to think that game could be a 1 vs 2 matchup is not far fetched at all and could end up being the best game of the season as far as a ranking matchup goes.
