Florida State loses key starter to his second career season-ending injury

This is brutal.

Florida State's offensive line has possibly been one of the worst of all of the Power 5 teams this season. However, one of their better starters in Landon Dickerson has now been lost for the year due to surgery he's having on his ankle, as announced by coach Jimbo Fisher.

The 6-foot-6, 310-pound lineman will have his season ended prematurely for a second straight season. He missed the last six games of last season due to an ACL tear. He initially left last week's game against Miami with the injury, but he did return to the game after that. However, it turns out that the injury is more serious than previously thought.

Josh Ball will start for Dickerson going forward, starting with the game this weekend against Duke.
