Lee Corso can no longer put on Florida State's mascot gear and it's all Bill Murray's fault

Looks like we won't see Lee Corso picking the Seminoles anytime soon.

When in doubt, blame Bill Murray. At ESPN's "College Gameday" panel in Atlanta, Ga. earlier this week, longtime Gameday analyst Lee Corso revealed that Auburn doesn't allow him to put on the Tiger mascot headgear. Apparently Auburn isn't the only school that doesn't allow Corso to wear its headgear, as Corso revealed that Florida State University doesn't let him either.

If you have no idea what Bill Murray has to do with College Gameday or Florida State, allow me to refresh your memory. So in 2013, the Gameday crew went to the Florida State-Clemson matchup in South Carolina. Murray was chosen as the guest picker, because who doesn't love a random dose of Murray in any capacity whatsoever? So, Corso picked the Seminoles and donned the Chief Osceola gear for his pick. And then this happened.

But apparently it wasn't Murray's tackle that got Corso in trouble — it was afterwards when Murray took the spear from Corso and threw it into the Gameday crowd.

Fear not, 'Nole fans — this maybe means that Corso just can't use the spear and the headgear when picking Florida State. But we might have to wait to see if Gameday chooses to go to any Florida State games this year to find out.
