Louisville basketball head coach Rick Pitino thinks the Cardinals football team will beat Florida State

You know, I may have said he has a good point. FSU is coming off a very emotional victory against Notre Dame, and the short turnaround to a Thursday game may cause some trouble for the Seminoles.

But Florida State has a bye this weekend. The Noles have plenty of time to settle down. But Rick Pitino predicted that the Cardinals will upset the Seminoles next Thursday.

I have a strong feeling Pitino won't be too excited when the game actually gets going. Louisville's both losses have come to teams who are actually good: Clemson and Virginia. The Cards haven't been able to beat a good team yet.

At least Pitino is showing his support for other teams, but maybe he should have stayed quiet.
