One running back is on pace for a season college football has never seen before

Could he pull it off?

It's not often that we see excellent college running backs do more than just run the ball, but that's exactly what Florida State's Dalvin Cook has been doing this year. He has the most total yards from scrimmage this season with 1,130 and is averaging 7.3 yards per play. That has put him on pace for a season we've never seen in college football.

He currently has 345 receiving yards and 785 rushing yards through six games. With games against Syracuse, Wake Forest and N.C State on the horizon Cook could very well meet those marks by the end of the season. He'll likely be limited by tough defenses in Clemson and Florida, but could play well against a usually stingy Boston College defense if the Seminoles use the blueprint Clemson gave them to win the game.
