Recruit decommits from UCF, immediately upgrades by flipping to this school

That's a big upgrade!

Well, if you can make this kind of upgrade...

Three-star linebacker Demarco Artis (6-foot-3, 220 pounds, Sanford, FL) had committed to Central Florida just five weeks ago, but it looks like he had an abrupt change of heart after landing an offer from Florida State. On Tuesday, Artis officially flipped, announcing his commitment to the Seminoles.

It is a nice gain for Florida State, who had lost Bradley Jennings Jr. on Monday evening. Considering that both recruits are highly-rated three-star linebackers, it's almost like the Seminoles just swapped one for the other.

Florida State has 11 commitments for the 2017 recruiting class. That class currently ranks 10th in 247Sports' recruiting rankings.
