Taggart is in talks to hire current McNeese State head coach Lance Guidry to his coaching staff, according to American Press.
Guidry would be a defensive assistant for the Seminoles, but it's unclear exactly what role he'd serve for the Seminoles. He was the defensive coordinator under Taggart at Western Kentucky in 2012.

Guidry has been at McNeese State for two seasons, and he's 15-7 with the Cowboys. McNeese finished 9-2 in 2017.
The American Press reported that Guidry was talking things over with his current coaching staff. He makes $180,000 as the head coach, defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at McNeese State.
Last year, the lowest paid coach on Florida State's staff made $347,000. Guidry would reportedly make between $325,000 and $400,000 if he joined the Seminoles.
Harlon Barnett will be the defensive coordinator for Florida State next season, and Raymond Woodie will be the linebackers coach. Odell Haggins will serve as the defensive line coach and associate head coach.
