Former New England Patriots cornerback and two-time Super Bowl winner Asante Samuel was pretty great during his playing days and was a good enough player to make the Pro Bowl four times. He's got a son who's a junior at football powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

And Samuel Jr. has a leader in the clubhouse for his recruitment right now. He named Clemson, FSU and Miami as his top three last summer and one of those schools has made a good enough impression to get some love from Samuel as his top choice:
Noles247 caught up with Samuel Jr. during a 7-on-7 tournament in Orlando and that's when he gave his early leader.
"FSU is at the top right now," Samuel said. "It's about the coaches, the players, the tradition, I love it."
He also said he's hoping to visit FSU soon as well as Auburn and Alabama by March. He also said he would not likely attend FSU's Junior Day and is in no rush to make a decision.
Samuel is a four-star 5"10', 166-pounder who is ranked as the No. 14 CB in the class and No. 25 player in the state of Florida.
