Florida State was already in dire straits after losing star quarterback Jordan Travis for the year after a late, horrific injury, but. now the Seminoles could be without Tate Rodemaker as well.
Backup Tate Rodemaker steered the Seminoles through the last couple of games, although he did not do so in impressive fashion. Hut now, the backup quarterbac might be out for Florida State's next game, the ACC Championship against the Louisville Cardinals.

After a head injury sustained in FSU's rivalry win over Florida, Rodemaker is considered day-to-day ahead of the Seminoles' clash with Louisville, with a conference title on the line. If he isn't able to go, it will be Brock Glenn, a freshman from Covington, Tennessee who has completed two of his three college pass attempts thus far. For FSU, who is currently 12-0 this season, there could be even more at stake; a spot in the College Football Playoff.
The debate was already raging about whether or not the Seminoles should be included as an undefeated conference champion due to the fact that they were down to a backup quarterback. Those rumblings would all but certainly become even louder should they end up starting a third-stringer in the conference title game, although given the shakiness shown by Rodemaker so far, a convincing performance from Glenn might actually be a net positive.
Glenn provides a dual threat that could be very valuable to Florida State, as he's already rushed for a college touchdown during a relief performance at the end of a blowout win over North Alabama. He was a four-star recruit, and a top-10 overall prospect in the state of Tennessee last year amidst a great senior season. This, of course, is a much bigger stage, and he'd enter rarefied air if he does make his first-ever start in a conference championship- and even more so if he picks up the win.
