Everyone knows Dalvin Cook is one of the top running backs in the country, if not the best. He finished the 2015 season with 1,691 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns to go with 244 reception yards and a touchdown. He averaged 7.4 yards per rush and was even better against superior defenses.

In the last year, Cook has played against seven teams ranked in the top 40 for yards per carry on non-sack rushes and here's how he bested all of them with the exception of Ole Miss who he has yet to play.

There's only one team that kept Cook below their average for the defensive statistic and that was Houston who made the Noles look bad all around in that game. But against teams like USF, Clemson and Louisville he basically doubled up their allowed yards per carry. This just proves how great Cook is and why he should be a Heisman favorite this year.
