Things could get interesting in the recruitment of five-star cornerback Tyson Campbell.
According to 247Sports, Campbell (6-foot-3, 180 pounds, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) is considering a visit to Florida State on October 7 for their game against Miami. 247 notes that Florida State hasn't been trending for Campbell much before now, and this could prove to be a breakthrough for the Seminoles.
Miami, Ohio State, Georgia, and Alabama are other programs that are near the top of Campbell's recruitment. Even if Florida State is starting to trend for Campbell, it won't be easy to get past these four teams.
Campbell is rated as one of the top players of the 2018 recruiting class. The 247Sports Composite currently ranks him as the No. 3 cornerback in the nation and as the No. 23 overall recruit.
