The Miami football team will be without a member of its secondary for the upcoming bowl game against Washington State. On Tuesday, Miami announced that backup safety Jamal Carter has been suspended indefinitely from the team, and he will be sent home from the Sun Bowl preparations. The game kicks off at 12:00 p.m EST from El Paso, Tx. on Saturday, Dec. 26. ESPN’s Brett McMurphy first had the report.
Carter racked up 48 total tackles this season, including an interception with a 48-yard return on the year. The Hurricanes are currently 2.5-point underdogs to the Cougars.
