Two ACC players facing charges after dorm room fight that required police response

Two ACC players are facing charges after a dorm room fight.

A game of Madden got out of hand and reportedly led to a fight between two Pitt football players, and now both players are facing disorderly conduct charges.

Freshman defensive back Paris Ford and freshman tight end Tyler Sear were playing Madden, according to a tweet from Ford.

The incident took place on Oct. 17 when a fight broke out in their dorm room, and a criminal complaint was filed. Police arrived at the scene, and an officer this course of conduct created a physically hazardous condition to a degree police response was required.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that the incident took place about 10:15 p.m., and the official charge is disorderly conduct/engaged in fighting. A team spokesman said the situation was handled internally.

Sear responded back in another, and it seems like the two are on good terms.

Maybe the two should take a break from Madden for a little while and try some team bonding exercises.

Ford is likely redshirting this season, while Sear has played in limited action.
